Blood warp cheat.

What's to stop players from blood warping with no gear, and purchasing a low level weapon just to equip for when they do blood warp?

That would make the whole durability loss thing void.

Umm, why would they need to bloodwarp? Return doesn't cost anything and it's only a 15 minute timer. Anyway the solution I have would be once the durability of an item hits zero you can't equip it. So even if they use a low level weapon, they would eventually have to repair it if they want to use it.

That's the beauty of taking away the demand for bloodwarp instead of taking away the means. With return on a 15 minute cooldown, even with the bloodwarp expoit possible, who in their right mind is going to waste an entire good inventory slot on the item for it? I could put anything in that slot! I could carry around my ONION HELM again!

Nothing. Though blood warps are less used, than returns while grinding, parting ect. The only time I blood warp is when I'm turning in leves. So for me blood warp returns are ~10% at best, of all returns. So durability loss is still going to be a factor. I think SE is trying to promote leveling classes out of your comfort zone (like me the anti healer) and entice players to pair up.

Well if you're just turning in leves then the durability loss wouldn't affect you. You only lose durability if you're KOed then use return and if you're partying then hopefully someone has Raise. Also with Chocobos and airships coming in 1.19 there will be even less people bloodwarping.

Really. Who gives a crap. It's not a cheat. If someone else wants to do this it only affects them. It affects no one else in the game. Sometimes I think one of the biggest problems in the game is not the game itself but all the people worried about hoe everyone else is playing.
