Going insane trying to transfer servers...

Hey all,

I'm trying to transfer my character from Masamune to Leviathan and for the life of me I can't figure it out! I have checked and double checked the bullet points on the requirements and It still won't seem to work. Is there something tricky I might be overlooking? Thanks!

Make sure you have removed everything for sale on your retainers, this is what stopped me transferring when I tried it.

I went to the retainer caller person and I don't even have a retainer :/ (I'm coming back from 1.0).

Edited for mis information. Hrmm will read into it, sorry about previous post i made. It had said no transfer between non legacy and legacy, just now read about that having ended.

Edit 2: Have you made sure of these things?
; Your character cannot have items entrusted to the Calamity Salvager NPC.
; The character you wish to transfer must be at least three days old.

If all else fails, try using a different internet browser/pc. That failing contact SE support.

Huh? Wasn't the no legacy transfer lifted?

You gotta rehire all your retainers from any character that had them.
Take all your items out of the Calamity Salvager.
Accept the first quest(s)... just to be safe, follow the intro quests till it asks you to atune to the Aetheryte.
Shouldn't be in a FC or have signed a petition for one.

Umm... can't remember any other "tricky" details.

Oh ok I'll try this. I don't quite remember what it means, it's been so long. I guess go to the person where I purchase a retainer and my old one will pop up for rehire?

Hire a new one but it has your old items from v1 carried over
