Accuracy on new Healer gear...?

According to xivdb most of the new gear for healers have accuracy on them... Please don't tell me i'll be seeing "Cure II MISSED!"

It is likely added there to encourage some form of off-DPSing (which I already try to maximize, personally) for the healers. If not directly off-DPSing for DPS-checks, then at least as an utility in pivotal situations. To give you an example: T5 Dreadknights. A WHM can Stone I them for the heavy-effect, as can the SCH do a Miasma. We might be encouraged to do similar things in T6-9. I quite like the accuracy boosts, though it won't really make us a 100% accuracy machines either, especially with the rising (likely) accuracy caps of turns 6-9, but every little bit helps. Nothing more infuriating than a missed Miasma on a dreadknight.

Judging by the stats, it doesn't look like the accuracy is taking anything from the item budget, so it's kind of like extra stats.

Scholars benefit from the added Accuracy seeing as they branch off from a DPS class. They off DPS more than WHM's should, so their DoTs have aim now~

Usually acc caps differ by each job, so no reason SCH/WHM won't be seeing their acc cap in i90. Since it is on every piece it does add up.

I was wondering this earlier today actually but healers should stick to their job and heal, not off-dps, if that's indeed what se are intending, its ridiculous. imo it shouldn't be on the gear, I would have put det instead. or sp if det already there. or omit it altogether and raise the other stats by a smidgen.

u don't see mind stat on bard gear so they can do a bit of off-healing now do u! lol

As accuracy only is relevant in coil I do answer: There are more important skills that uses aetherflow stacks than energy drain.

Doesn't make since for WHM. . Considering most coil and end game extremes are a huge manasink. . Don't do much dps if ur managing your mp. . Lets buff shroud up and ill consider dps.. in 4 mans its cool but in 4 mans in high end gear accuracy is pointless at that ilvl
