So Ive been working on gearing and setting up my monk, and i feel i have hit all BiS pieces but that is a subject for another thread so dont make this about gear, so i can be the most viscous dps in the game :D. I have been playing around with a lot of different rotations and im trying to find the optimal one but I seem to hear lots of different things on the use of fracture in the rotation. As most of us know the base damage and the damage over time from fracture is pretty good. But does it actually slow you down in the long run? from what i have noticed just using it in fights I seem to run out of tp a lot faster w/ fracture and it also takes time away i could use to be doing my combos. I generally use Dragon Kick > Twin snakes > demolish > Touch of death(subject to not be used if still up with 10+ secs)> booth shine > true strike > snap punch > repeat. Throwing in my off global cool downs and using perfect balance to rebuild greased lightning 3 at important points. pretty much my internal release and blood for blood are always on cool down. as well as steel peak(if im not stunning) and howling fist. I also use mercy stroke at 20% hp when its up.
Throwing in fracture seems to make me run out of tp faster as well if im able to have greased lightning 3 up at all times.
So feel free to post your monk rotations in responses. But bottom line question of the day: Is fracture worth it for monks? If so, why?
