New rain effect is a bit disappointing. It should look like this:

This should happen to the ground:

and how it just gave a nice effect to everything

Right now when it rains, it's as if the water is just falling through the world.

when it was first announced i was expecting it to look something like 13-2's rain effects :/ was a little disappointed with it aswell, but I guess these effects are better than none

I'm slightly confused here. What new rain effects? All I can read is new wet effects on our characters during rain.

It was never stated to be improved rain effects on the environment, you're disappointment is of your own making.

PS3 MMO Limitations.

Man, it's amazing the amount of stuff you can do with graphics when you don't have to render more than an hundred of models on screen nowadays.

Make it an option. Those of us with powerful enough PCs, let us turn on realistic weather. Leave it out of the PS3 version.
