[DEV 1018] Changing prices of items in a retainer's bazaar (also players)

I would like to bring up the point which has bothered me for a while when it comes to bazaars. That being, you are unable to alter the prices of items without having to take the item out of the bazaar, and then place it back with a new price. This process is quite tiresome, especially when you're having to reprice an entire bazaar's worth of items.
Not only that, you will be unable to re-price items if yours or your retainer's inventory is full since you will have no space left to take them out of the bazaar.

I would like at some point in the future to be able to change prices without having to take the items out of the bazaar first.

Suggestion to add options for Bazaar so you don’t have to cancel the bazaar to change the price or adding a option to add the same item that is in inventory (newly obtained) into the bazaar without the need of cancelling and redoing the bazaar.

Currently when I have items already up on bazaar and when I obtain the same item it goes into the inventory and will need to cancel the bazaar and redo the bazaar again to include the item. If it’s the same item being sold, I would think it would be good to have a option to have the item added to the bazaar directly.

When selecting an item in inventory and already being up on bazaar having a option like “add to bazaar” and adjusting the price would make it easier.

It’s troublesome just to go into bazaar and returning the item into regular inventory and putting up again, I would like to see feature like this (OP). If you don’t get these type of issues fixed users will just get more stressed out.

Good evening everyone,

I have brought up this topic to the dev team regarding having to cancel the bazaar once to change the price. With current situation it is very hard and we will look into it as we work on repairs to the server.

So again... and again... it's the server... wonder how much of all our good inputs posted on here can't be done because of the 'server' issue... Don't get mad at the reps though, they are just getting the info and relaying the message, not their fault.

Great suggestion that you brought up, Adol! We forwarded your feedback to the dev. team to let them know and we got a response right away! What the dev. team informed us was that the current system would make these changes difficult due to the fact that these features are server-related, so once the server adjustments have been implemented they will be looking into being able to change prices of items in personal and retainer bazaars.

Ah yes, the mythological server-related changes that once happened shall open the gates of eternity and damniation all at once.

Could get messy if someone is trying to buy something right as you're changing the price. Would have to make sure you read the confirmation message when buying and not just spam through it.

I've wished for it too though ^^;

Thanks Rukkirii. I realise this isnt a huge issue when compared to others so I appreciate the dev team looking in to this!

I think whenever you are communicating with your retainer in the MW, it stops players from carrying out transactions with it and says in the chatlog that "you are unable to buy xxx" or something along those lines (or at least this has happened to me anyway). So I think people have always been able to change prices while someone is trying to buy from it; it just stops people from actually carrying out the transaction all the while the retainer's owner is using it.

As for player bazaars, this could end up becoming an issue. I think the only way of getting around this issue is that they make it so people cannot carry out transactions all the while the player holding the items in his/her bazaar has their inventory currently open.
