Re-tuning Skill Speed & TP
So as it stands, Skill Speed is pretty trashy. It's slightly helpful for sneaking in a few extra weaponskills while cooldowns are up, and for WAR's rotations/Inner Beast, but otherwise it doesn't help as much as CRIT & DET do. So, how about changing skill speed to affect auto-attacks instead and reverting TP back to how it was?
The whole reason TP was changed in the first place was because of PvP, but the consensus seems to be that PvP is garbage anyway. Furthermore, it's the only stat out of the 3 mentioned that currently does nothing for auto-attacks or actual damage dealt - it only speeds up resource consumption, it doesn't actually make you hit harder.
By changing it to affect the speed of auto-attacks (and as a result TP accumulation) it becomes a mini-haste, which would put it more on par with DET & CRIT. It also solves a big problem for WAR which is running out of TP in big fights. MNK in particular would see a pretty huge boost from this change and it would further define it from DRG. SS would be closer to haste in XI in this way, but without the added brokeness of also reducing spell timers (namely shadows).
