Whats the trick to Haukke Manor (HM)?

First boss. A big skeleton Manor Steward or something spawns on occation. I though initially that it spawned when 3 corpses are near each other when the blue circle forms. I saw just now that they don't always merge inside of the blue circle. 90% of people i play with do not know about the steward in the first place.

What is the secret to avoid spawning it?

Its always spawned for me
2xholy from your healer does the trick

Or just drag it near boss and aoe

Or just regen+sprint

The trick is they die easy.

Steward will spawn if you kill a seketon and it gets raised in the magic circle. So if you don't have the gear check, do the bone dragon tactic.

Wrong on both accounts. holy doesn't kill it, it has more hp than the boss. It does massive aoe that nearly wipes party.

The magic circle always appears on adds. there are too many adds to avoid there being 3 next to each other. Sometimes 3 being near eachother does not spawn the steward somehow.

I thought it was 4 together that spawned the large skeleton, but there might be some other factor to it. I ran manor the other day and we didn't get any stewards despite the latter end of the fight getting extremely chaotic to the point where we couldn't worry about where to kill them.

IIRC isnt the outline a small circle and a large circle surrounding it? Maybe they all have to be within the small circle.

There are 2 types of add as said by Mr. Happy.

1st: the skeletons with the boss
2nd: Skeletons that spawn on from the cage

Skeleton bones (from orginal set?) on the magic circle should pop a steward.

mr happy never mentioned steward even existing or how to deal with it. How do you avoid it wiping the party? what does the tank do?

We do nothing special because our dps is so high, it really doesn't matter, but you can choose to lb the steward (give or take how the boss is doing).

Our tank though does move from corner to corner if only to get away from the patches, and thus the magic circles will not keep coming together.

The best thing is to catch the skeleton spawns as they pop, and not let them get to the center. They spawn from the cages in a set pattern.

The least of our worries are from the steward, but he rarely spawns if you don't kill skeletons in the near the tank.

So the tank does not need to get adds. And if the healer dies to adds the dps is doing something wrong?

Besides the steward, the adds dies very fast under damage dealer scrutiny. Seconds. Sometimes it doesn't even last outside the cage. Damage dealer is definitely doing something wrong if skeleton need a tanks attention.

the last set though does spawn like 3 seketon, so that's when the mayhem starts and may want a tank to get them (usually the fight is over)
