Loot System Failure and Lockout

I've had numerous occasions where the games loot system has failed to work properly, as well as working as intended and having me forced to take a lockout. For the last 5 weeks, I have been plagued by one or the other.

4 resets ago (4weeks) My main, an i88 PLD, was running Crystal Tower. I was looking for the Crown of Light at the time, last boss drop. I ran it during a winter snowstorm, to my chagrin, and after King Behemoth was downed, while inside the arena with Acheron, but before starting the fight, the entire city power grid was knocked off, and I was disconnected. During this, the Fuma Gantai was forcibly inserted into my inventory, unbeknownst to me. When I reconnected, I ran CT, without pausing to consider that possibility, and was decimated to find that I could not lot on that Crown of Light that dropped, uncontested. I contacted CS and was told, sorry about your luck, make a bug report, but we still can't help anyways.

3 resets ago (3 weeks) I earned the Crown of Light, as intended.

2 resets ago (2 weeks) I earned the Royal Robe, as intended.

1 reset ago (last week) I was running along after Bone Dragon toward Atamos, after having clicked pass, twice, to make sure, as I am now paranoid, on the Onion Gauntlets. Once lotting finished, i was forcibly given the item, and locked out.//

//Same week, with an alternate secondary character, I earned the Onion Body, as intended//

This week (just today 1/20/2014), I ran CT and made sure to click pass, 2 times again, on the Onion Sarouel, again on my main character who is a 35 DRG with no intentions of lvling, and was forcibly dropped into my inventory, locked out once more.

I switched to my alternate character, a i69 DRG, to run CT, looking specifically FOR the Onion Sarouel, and much to my chagrin and dismay, after Acheron, I was too slow in clicking pass, technically my fault, and everyone else in my party left the instance very quickly, forcing the Crown of Light to drop into my inventory, forcing, once more, me to be locked out of weekly content.

I've contacted support, and am awaiting them telling me "sorry about your luck" again.

Is this acceptable to anyone else?

Why is there no outcry? I know I am not the only one to be experiencing either of these issues.

I am so seething mad about these turn of events, I am only barely keeping from unsubscribing, and I love this game...

I literally just had this happen to me. The group was rushing through and I was trying my hardest to get protect and stoneskin on everyone and in the mist of it all I forgot about passing on loot. (Not that I was suppose to get able to get loot yet but apparently it reset early today.)

:/ And I know my issue was totally my fault but when you dc or the group abandons you during cutscene I would hardly say you deserve to be punished like that.

They can't help you in regards to the loot you got.

If you don't want to click, one of the bullet points says in regards to Labyrinth of the Ancients (Crystal Tower):

"In the event all but one party member leaves the instance, the remaining party member will not receive loot until they have cast a lot on said item.
* In the event no one lots on an item, it will be lost when all party members leave the instance."

Why can't they make this true of cases if you don't roll. It should default to pass not greed.

I also think that a party member should have the option of passing on loot once they have lotted on it due to a mistake. However, your situation is not yours alone one of our FC members was a little late in passing as the whole party paraded out of the instance and he was stuck, unintentionally, with a drop he didn't want. (two resets ago)

Yes, I've been informed of that supposed fix myself. Someone said that shouldn't have happened. I wish that it didn't, but it did. Yesterday. Prior to the update.

I can live with the weeks of being screwed. I've swallowed that. All I want is a reset for this week. Remove the items from my inventory, and allow me to run CT for the thing I actually wanted. One, or both characters.

Been trying for 3 weeks to get the tank head too. Week one no loot. Last week rolled pants out of week-end desperation. Last night got stuck with healer head piece due to slow loading PS3. So 4 weeks to *maybe* get the piece I'm looking for. *Maybe not*. My FC is disappointed that I won't be running with them for the rest of the week. Quite honestly I don't feel like ever running it again, fixed or not, the headache of being wiped by trolls isn't worth it.
