Loot System Failure and Lockout

I've had numerous occasions where the games loot system has failed to work properly, as well as working as intended and having me forced to take a lockout. For the last 5 weeks, I have been plagued by one or the other.

4 resets ago (4weeks) My main, an i88 PLD, was running Crystal Tower. I was looking for the Crown of Light at the time, last boss drop. I ran it during a winter snowstorm, to my chagrin, and after King Behemoth was downed, while inside the arena with Acheron, but before starting the fight, the entire city power grid was knocked off, and I was disconnected. During this, the Fuma Gantai was forcibly inserted into my inventory, unbeknownst to me. When I reconnected, I ran CT, without pausing to consider that possibility, and was decimated to find that I could not lot on that Crown of Light that dropped, uncontested. I contacted CS and was told, sorry about your luck, make a bug report, but we still can't help anyways.

3 resets ago (3 weeks) I earned the Crown of Light, as intended.

2 resets ago (2 weeks) I earned the Royal Robe, as intended.

1 reset ago (last week) I was running along after Bone Dragon toward Atamos, after having clicked pass, twice, to make sure, as I am now paranoid, on the Onion Gauntlets. Once lotting finished, i was forcibly given the item, and locked out.//

//Same week, with an alternate secondary character, I earned the Onion Body, as intended//

This week (just today 1/20/2014), I ran CT and made sure to click pass, 2 times again, on the Onion Sarouel, again on my main character who is a 35 DRG with no intentions of lvling, and was forcibly dropped into my inventory, locked out once more.

I switched to my alternate character, a i69 DRG, to run CT, looking specifically FOR the Onion Sarouel, and much to my chagrin and dismay, after Acheron, I was too slow in clicking pass, technically my fault, and everyone else in my party left the instance very quickly, forcing the Crown of Light to drop into my inventory, forcing, once more, me to be locked out of weekly content.

I've contacted support, and am awaiting them telling me "sorry about your luck" again.

Is this acceptable to anyone else?

Why is there no outcry? I know I am not the only one to be experiencing either of these issues.

I am so seething mad about these turn of events, I am only barely keeping from unsubscribing, and I love this game...
