Unable to name Chocobo in My Little Chocobo(Maelstrom)

5. Chocobokeep asks me to name the chocobo
6. Quest symbol pops above the Chocobo
7. I try to talk to the chocobo, nothing happens. The hotbar goes dark, like I am performing an action but no dialogue box appears.

I have encountered 2 other players in game who have the same issue. Relogging or switching classes does not seem to fix the problem. Every time I am in Limsa Lominisa, I pop in to see if I can name the chocobo and am unable to do so. Today, I tried in a different location than my home, and the problem still persists.

I am not sure of the model number of the playstation 3 I am using, but from one of the players I have talked to, this problem also occurs on the PC.

8. Logged out and retried twice before abandoning the quest to try it again, but didn't get my licence or seals back so I couldn't try again.

I have redone this quest THREE TIMES, all from Limsa Lominsa as the Maelstrom in Couerl Server. I am not abandoning it again in case things can be fixed... but now all I can do is glare at my bird as it refuses to let me name it to claim it.

The latest maintenance fixed the problem for me. I finally named my chocobo <3
