Is Paying for a Dungeon a ToS Violation?

In particular Titan HM.

My FC is fantastic, but not quite as large as some of the older FCs. I have established some great friendships and refuse to hop ship because of player quantity. People have real life priorities and I refuse to consider another FC because of this. They always help when they can, and always have a great attitude. However….

I’ve been in Titan HM duty finder for days now. It’s truly maddening. Sometimes I think, “Oh, that’s the one person on that one close run.” or “Oh man! That’s the 2 dudes that I almost beat him with!” But alas, there is always 1 or 2 people who can’t avoid landslide, or freak out after the heart dies.

I’ve tried using the party finder quite a few times, even set the ilvl req to 65 once. Ya….had 2 dps put on pvp accessories to meet the requirement.

So, the gentleman on my server offered what I deem to be a very reasonable price, but before I do this, I am curious about any possible repercussions. I say it’s not a violation, but will refer to the more knowledgeable minds of the forum for guidance.

With Gil? No, though some people look down on people who do. With real money? Yes.

It is not.
It is trading an in game service for in game money.
It's the same as a crafting service or a meteria melding service.

It is only a violation of the ToS if it is paid with real world money.

Thank you. I understand why it's an unsavory practice. The price is really good though, and do not feel I'm being ripped off.

you are safe, buying runs is perfectly legal under the TOS as long as you are only trading in-game currency items for other in-game currency items

that being said, my FC has sold numerous runs, 9/10 the buyers are always the first to die, and its always before the heart phase. we do keep a list of all the folks we sell to so we can make sure not to invite them to any raids or legit fights. im sorry but if you cant get thru Titan HM without a carry then you have no business moving on to higher tiered content.

may I ask how much?? here on Ragnarok I think its going for 350k

Given the state of the markets, (completely crashed).
The only way to currently make real gils (to afford a mansion >..>) is to sell mercenary kills.
