Question about houses

Greetings!

I wanted to ask, what exactly is required to get a house? I'm not looking for a list of materials, but more of a price range. I also want to ask, if only a certain amount of people can aquire one? Or is houses available for everyone?

If there is a good place to read about these things, I would be grateful if someone could provide a link :)

It requires a rank 6 FC and tens of millions of gil.

Currently, I've only heard of less than a dozen FC houses having been purchased by some of the most well-off FC's. That's combining all servers. So odds are, no, it is not available until you meet the mountains of money requirement.

You are on Exodus, however, and have lucked out. Prices there are comparatively reasonable. That mountain can range from 6M to 100M.

It will cost you millions of gil for a FC house and if you're on a Legacy Server then kiss it goodbye cause the prices are OUTRAGEOUS!

Yup. Last check, Sargatanas is still holding its breath. The first deprecation adjustments won't come along until January, based on Yoshi's progressively more dubious promises.

Prices are currently still deprecating at 0.14% of the original starting price per six hours. Assuming Yoshi is to be believed (i've got a Lemon worth 10M gil for you if you do believe him), there will be no 'adjustment' to the price decline rate until January. We've still got another couple weeks of this bullsh*t before we can see if Yoshi can keep a promise for longer than it takes an appeased blogger to sing his praises.

Appreciate the replies everyone. I would still like to know, if only a certain amount of houses are available?

All houses are available as long as you got the coins and on my server it is 312 million gil for a large house for my FC size! ><!

The short answer: There are currently 450 houses available per server, which generally is more than the number of FC's that can reasonably expect to afford one within the next 3-6 months.

Once SE realizes it's a major game developer and that they actually need, and can easily afford, the pittance of server space needed to accomodate this rather lackluster feature, there will be more space available. Until then, we will have to simply sit and give Yoshi incredulous looks when we don't believe his BS about needing more than two weeks for servers for features planned for over the past six months.

In the larger scope, there are upwards around twice that (900+) FC's on a server, depending on population. If any one of the 'tiny' ones happens to host a legacy character with a massive bankroll, expect to see a lot of "Personal" homes pop up, particularly among the small lots.

There is competition currently among the populated servers to see who gets 'established' in the first five districts before the SE team 'gets around' to installing more servers, so depending on what server you're on, be ready to get bullied for space as these are relatively unique posessions to obtain. This is only temporarily (and heavy-handidly) suppressed by the prices for the time being.

Well quite frankly, I thought there would be houses available for the individuals. So I don't care much for the houses, if they are just for FC's
