WhiteMage being hurt by patch

So I'd like to say the holy at 240 was Good considering the stun time was like nothing and it's really not fair.

We as WHM need these last resort spells, plus taking away our Thunder and giving us blizzard isn't really fair, considering we normally use DOT's over a stone 1,2, move.

I think IF we needed the 200 potency instead of 240 at least give us 10 or 15 secs of stun then reduce by 5 until immune or something.

10-15sec stun? dafuq?...

It's 40 less potency and as a "last resort spell" one could use blizz2 for the snaring aspect....

I mean dont get me wrong, but if you want to critizise, please be at least a bit realistic....

And dont answer with something like: "yeah only a SCH would say that.."

White mages need something a bit better than a reduction in 40 potency, since we basically heal it makes sense for it, as far as blizzard it doesn't do much damage either and the snaring ability We have the water move that blasts them off the screen we truly do not need two abilities to bind the target.

So we get Holy- 15 sec stun
We get blizzard which just isn't much

And then we get the waterspell that bounces things back.

If anything we need thunder back and allow an increase in duration for holy.

As far as Scholars they have a huge buff if anything to their class, their pets are better, and it kind of bothers me the SCH is of course better currently.

the holy nerf isnt really so terrible, with foes you are back at normal numbers. Used it to clear wave 4 on turn 4 last night when a dps dropped with no problems.

whm's complaining about medica 2 on the other hand i can get behind. If they were looking to bring the healers more in line with eachother they should look at my single target burst healing.

Have you not noticed it's much less stressful maintaining a lower aggro than tank with those two spells since the changes? Isn't that what we all asked for? WHM is perfect how it is, things like Phase 2 0 clicks tactic still works with ease, if not much more easily due to Medica 2's extended duration, all these threads about Holy/Medica are silly. You are forgetting with Cleric, Holy is still 220 Potency due to the 10% increase from the stance, it's still high....

Edit: Not only that but Cure 3 can now be used like some insane medica, with the reduced cast time and expanded range, cast it with no target and bam, huge heals. I love it personally. I play both my WHM and my SCH depending on what my PT needs, they are both strong at their own things.

they buffed shield oath... and warriors allways had good hate. enmity was only an issue for bad whm's. medica 2's current net hate is exactly the same it just overheals alot more now

10s? 15s? You can just sit back and watch and maybe alt-tab browse through the web while everyone else can dps through the mobs without you worrying about anything. This is stun we are talking here.

I never even used holy until dpsing in WP speed runs, which is not really the function of the whm. Yes I like to dps when it is useful or prudent to do so, but as long as they haven't nerfed the healing abilities, they haven't hurt the whm. As far as medica II. It works just as well, only differently. Players just need to get use to it. Cure III was buffed, but I still have never used it. So I really don't see a problem.

It only appears to be the same. Before (random) 1500 HP in 15 seconds. Now 1500 HP in 30 seconds. Except... the spare 15 seconds... would be another 1500 HP that are gone now. Old Medica was 2x as much in the same time frame. I think it was fixed just for hate control (for some people) because I'm not seeing myself dying any more than usual due to its reduction. Whms have adapted appropriately.

Holy... to the OP... buff holy? Last resort spell? Methinks you need to experience all that Whm has to offer before making such statements. OR! Great troll!
