Will melees be able to go to coil and primals and such or will ppl still stick with just getting 1 melee for the LB?

People will take melee if the melee are any good for dps.
People will not take melee on fights that are extremely melee unfriendly (like t1, when they can't really kite the adds, you really only want one melee).
Nothing has really changed.
There was never a reason to avoid taking melee to primals. And that's not going to change now.
1 Melee is still going to be the norm for Coil because they haven't changed any of the anti-melee mechanics like Rot, Soldier/Knight cleaves, Dreadknights, Liquid Hell, Twister, etc..
2 Bard is probably going to continue to be the norm for ADS miniboss and Turn2 as well because it's just flat out easier to handle with Bard than Paladin and groups are even less likely to stack two Paladins after the patch.
HOWEVER; Raids will prefer Bards that can swap to another DD class outside of those two encounters because they're just going to be too weak to stack.
So if you're a melee who wants to get into coil, you might look into leveling Bard and gearing up with at least iLvL70 gear to make yourself marketable as the "swing bard" for Turn2.
As far as crystal tower goes, who knows. We haven't seen any of the mechanics yet.
Since when was turn 1 hard and required stacking groups? The only fight where melee are a detriment is twister phase in turn 5, and even then it just requires them to have good raid awareness. They were buffed to compensate for disconnect on targets...
