So... did Yoshi explain why the extreme virus nerf and the ROD "EXTREME" nerf?

Since Yoshi commented about housing today morning and i am wondering if they commented on the issue with virus and Rod?

I don't know what rod is, maybe its in patch note too,

I mean as in why, I believe it to be another hot button topic.

They balanced them both around PVP, which is why they are so extremely nerfed now.

RoD = Rain of Death. Brd aoe skill whit high TP cost and side effect to reduce targets damage reduced whit 10% (pre 2.1) RoD is now reduce targets evation whit 10%

RoD damage reduction was moved to war (single target effect) if i understand it correct.
