Thanks for the information.
However, I'm quite shocked. All of the level 90 Accessories from the Primals (as well as the new iLvL 90 Sword) have amazingly horrible stat choices. It's so bad we can't even replace one of our rings. And this new i90 Sword is not only worse then Relic+1; it's practically worse than Relic+0 (extremely odd stats choices for a weapon that's supposed to be harder to obtain than Relic+1.) This Primal gear is "worst in slot" for almost every single piece, but it's never best in slot.
New Level 90 Gear
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sword: Break Blade - Strength, Vitality, Critical Hit Rate and Skill Speed
Neck: None (Probably Leviathan)
Ear: Tremor Earrings of Fending - Vitality, Accuracy, Determination (Better than Skill Speed at least)
Wrist: Inferno Bangle of Fending: Vitality, Parry, Skill Speed
Ring: Vortex Ring of Fending - Vitality, Critical Hit Rate and Determination
A ring with no Parry or Accuracy? Seriously? If I want to do "Max Deeps" I can use Striking accessories. Critical Hit Rate and Skill Speed don't belong on on Fending gear.
I'm clearly talking about Paladin in my entire post.
Still only the 1 black mage shield, ancient buckler thing. No idea where it comes from yet but I guess we can assume crystal tower?
There's a few new good pieces for healers as well. Hell, even some of the PvP items look to be better some PvE items.
Not all secondary stats are worth stacking. For some of the PvP gear, the secondary stat that it does have has a bit more than the PvE equivalent. So there's some theorycrafting to be had and like the poster above said, the scholar book looks interesting for those scholars that are interested in maximizing their crit.
Bad for scholars, but some whms who like spellspeed could be rejoicing right now.
All the new gear gives people options for gear sets they find are more optimal for their play style, not necesarily BiS.
