10 More Days Till 2.1!!!!!

Im looking forward to New Vengeance & New Storm Path....Can't make up my mind which is my fav (Even if it is still subject to change)

There's To many un-anwsered question about New Storm Path for me to decide.

According to Yoshi

Storm Path - "This skill will also reduce damage dealt by enemies for a period of time"

What throws me off is the word "enemies"... Will this be a Debuff on 1 Target similiar to Paladin Rage of Halone ? Or will the be a Self Buff that reduces Damage of All Enemies for couple secs. If its the 2nd one, then it wins in my book since you can possibly kept up 100% of the time. Yoshi made no mention of how long it would last.

Which Warrior Skill are you most excited about ?

It will have the effect of Rain of Death that Bards use. It will reduce the damage that the affected enemy will put out, it won't give you a mitigation buff, as the changes to Inner Beast already do that.

Nice! Will this have the same 10% ? if So then this is definately a Big Boost to our Arsenal. Where did you hear this from ?

I'm most looking forward to the Holmgang and Storm's Path changes. Those skills will finally have a use outside of the slime boss and trying to solo bosses with low damage.

I'm kind of not excited by Vengeance. The damage reduction is nice, but I liked using it as either an extra point of wrath or as AoE control... its now too good to throw it out for an extra point of Wrath (not that we really need to anymore, since Wrath stacks are worth a lot less) and its probably too good to use on packs of trash that have no chance of killing you. You want to save it for the DR.

I'm least excited by the Inner Beast changes, as it's almost a nerf outside of a few encounters in the game*. All that needed to happen here was to move the healing buff from Wrath to Defiance (done, and it honestly wasn't needed), buff our eHP by 10-20% (Soak tank, gotta have some extra 'soak') and give Steel Cyclone a use (Still not done, threat is not something I have issues with). Instead we get this nice little mitigation buff and lose a large chunk of our healing ability, while Steel Cyclone remains basically worthless because it only gives threat (which isn't an issue) and our other Wrath spenders give either a good amount of damage reduction or more damage than Steel Cyclone. I mean you pop Unchained and hit Overpower 2-3 times and you've made up the damage difference, and you still have more than half the duration left on Unchained.

Other problems that were left untouched:
- Bloodbath as a cooldown is only situationally useful (and I use the term useful very loosely) against several mobs when you have Vengeance active and are spamming Overpower.
- Foresight is still completely worthless and can be macro'd into your combos and forgotten about.
- Still the only class in the game with no ability to regenerate their resources outside of waiting or using a bard.
- Still no silence and the stun cooldown needs to be 15s not 20s.
- You will now be able to miss the Mercy Stroke heal 30% more often, which is nice I guess.
- Accuracy still a huge issue, to the point where I have had pieces of gear sitting in my bags that I simply can't use for periods of up to 2 weeks at a time (twice now). Where's the Accuracy on our weapon like every other class gets?
- Defiance still not equal in effectiveness to Shield Oath. For that matter, still no offensive stance. Losing access to a bunch of abilities if we want to do damage sucks.

*for my gear, I was carried by my healers, I out-gear the content blah blah blah excuses for why other people are bad/can't do it. Figured I'd get in first.

Side note, Although its not a tank skill, I really wish Haymaker was off GCD so I could make more use of it. I'd use it over flash for sure.

I hope they make SP that way. Theres a couple of things this does for WAR.

1. Adds WAR Raid Utility
2. The uptime will be even more, now that WAR's will try to use this as often as they can where as bards only use it in AoE situations.

Any Bard worth a shit uses RoD when it's necessary for the success of the Raid.

If their debuff is removed it hurts Warrior, it doesn't help them.

If that change happens, It wont be removed....it will be moved to Strom path. Which will be better for WAR's as they wont have to rely on Good/Bad BRD. Also if they change Rain of Death because it doesnt stack with Storm path that doesnt mean they wont give BRD something else to alleviate that.
