Collector's Edition Cancelled...

On Black Friday, the SE Facebook page made a post indicating that they had "found" more physical collector's editions, and they were available to sale. I promptly bought one, and received this e-mail today:

Reason "other". Really? No explanation at all. Thanks SE.

Sucky way to do it but that basically means that you didn't put your order in fast enough so by the time they processed it they had already sold them all. It happens when things are low in volume but high in demand. The order volume exceeds the available stock so fast they can't put a hold on the sales before they oversell.
