[TO DEV TEAM] 80 gear and inventory slots..

We are getting ilvl 80 gear and ilvl 90 elemental extreme weapons , next days. Cool, new content. Now, dev team, do you mind to give us 2-5+ more retainers, with this patch?
Most of us crafting/ rolling multiple classes are having heavy troubles managing slots.
Look at me: i even used 3 bank slots from my personal FC, 2 retainers full, and 2 char bags nearly full. To save slots i runned quickly all classes to 15, so i was able to destroy every piece of gear on the range 5-15.
Ending up with a few slots left.
A working armoire wouldn't hurt too.

Can you imagine how many slot spaces we will need for 80 gear, every gear slot, every class?

Seriously, you didn't plan we was needing more space? FFS give us retainers. :mad:
We will pay too, JUST GIVE US SLOTS. :mad:

I mentioned the same thing here on forums, apparently people think that having 2 retainers is adequate compared to all the items we can obtain in the game.

I'm not at the point of needed more room as of yet, but I do tend to store all useful materials I find for a later use, but I don't because I tried before and I ran out of room on two retainers. I ended up selling off the materials and got 300k so whatever.

However I also like to be very organized and I agree that this game's storage capability just doesn't allow you to. No sort functionally or anything. I cringe each time I open my armory chest and see things so out of sort because each time you change a class, the gear it takes off just gets put into the first available open slot and not where you last put it. Annoying.

I'll add that over all this is a minor issue but an issue none the less. I have had to spend a good amount of time in the past to organize my inventory/retainers instead of playing the game. That is not what I'd consider working as intended.

I agree with the TC. As I've agreed with all the other people who have made similar topics. We need more space. More usable space. I would say more personal inventory slots over retainers, though. I hate needing to pull everything I'm selling off the market every time I want to check who has what where. Luckily, I have a great FC who have given me a tab of the company chest. But even that is almost full now.

Oh, and a sort feature most of all. Because, seriously.

They've already said they're not implementing more retainers this patch, asking again won't change that.

Also in the same post they said they are expanding the type, and amount, of items the armoire can store.

Yep. We can only hope pushing the request something will change.

At least an efficent armoire, jee.. (why something tells me we will not be able to store ilvl70 /80/ 90 myth / allagan gear on armoire chest during 2.1? :rolleyes: )

"Implementing" != changing server side config from 2 to 3....I'm sure it's game-breaking like talking to NPC while on chocobo.

For many, inventory management is an integral part of an RPG, single player or multiple. Also, iirc, they did say the Myth JOB gear(ie not the acc/belt) will be storeable. There was a post about what will be added, I'll see if I can find it.

I swore I saw a post or something mentioned about Myth Job gear, could be wrong or they could have meant the upcoming AF2. Or just misheard.

But the patch is effectively finished, it's not like they're holding out on you with retainers. If it was ready in time they'd have implemented it.

Yes, I'm hoping that the new changes to the armoire will be for those type of armour/items you've mentioned. I'm sure it will store Crystal Tower at the very least, if not Allagan etc.
