So if you own PS3 version you're in. I wouldn't worry about the details till a month away from it. -

The PS4 system itself is bitter-sweet like FFXIV:ARR, makes no sense to have a BETA.
The game's already launched.
The system already launched as I viewed a show on it. New games are released with updates and online multi-player is accessible through Playstation Pluz Network Member only access can play online games.
The system is more powerful so we know its going to run faster.
The only issue I have is paying for subscription + online multiplayer(MMORPGs) access. What do you all think of this? -

The PS4 client is NOT going to simply be the PS3 client reskinned. It's going to be closer to the PC client. Since it's a brand new build of the game on a brand new system it will require a 2-4 weeks of testing to work out wrinkles. This isn't beta testing the game persay just beta testing the new client. Wouldn't want to launch the PS4 version and find out there's a massive graphical glitch or something. Plus they'll probably hand out some beta keys to try and drum up more subs. :) I remember the FFXI Xbox launch. Major sub increase then.
