Not to mention that those last two DF are made like a labyrinth on purpose, so one also gets lost because everyone else has gone. To add offence to injury after 2hours waiting for Praetorium there was no sign of tanks. Fortunately my FC is quite nice and when I came back on the night they organized a party.
What a waste of an ending. SE could at least split the last battle, making it harder with some special rewards to get more people joining it, putting all custscene to the end where they don't bother the other people.

So you fail at this game so much that you managed to get lost in Castrum/Praetorium, watched every cutscene while the rest of your group fought the mobs (becuase re-watching the entire thing in your inn is a no-no, rite?) and didn't participate in major boss battles since you've fallen behind? Essentially, you got carried through and you're STILL complaining? Wow, FFXIV sure has a wonderful community... /sarcasm

I can understand the OP wanting to watch the cut scenes the first time, just because you can re watch them at the inn is no excuse to force players to skip scenes to rush the content... so yes I would be annoyed if my party rushed through the content and wouldnt let me watch the scenes either.
It is one of my pet peeves when grouping...its zooooom here , rush there, dragged off to somewhere ... the poor content artists stuff is wasted , the wall could be bright pink for all many players would notice or drawn with MS Paint... you miss a lot of really great scenes because you are rushed through and SE are rather good at cut scenes which makes them more appealing to watch.
Nope, I agree with the OP in the sense each player must be allowed to at least watch the scenes in peace and the party should wait for that so as to allow a first time to be fun and interesting and let the player participate in the fights... getting carried through a dungeon is a let down, get enough of that with WoW dungeon runs with over spec'd players just bum rushing the whole lot barely letting others even get a single rotation off. -

I blame SE for poor implementations and emphasis on Dungeon cutscenes. The fact that I have run a myriad of dungeons numerous times always watching the initial cutscenes (assuming its the first time I've seen it) and not one single player has offered up this piece of wisdom (but instead berates me) speaks volumes about the 'wonderful community'. Its ironic that this information is brought to light (for some of us) in the manner it is. You might want to remove yourself from the overbearing comfort your internet blanket seems to afford. -

I agree though could of been implemented better, but people need to chill and let others enjoy the GAME (key word). If can't enjoy it then why play it games are for entertainment.
