Hey guys,
I'm looking for some help on gearing my warrior. Been looking around on the forums trying to find some information about what I should be looking to craft and what order I should spend my mytho tomes in. I found some good information in this post: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...zation-for-WAR. for stat optimization, but haven't found anything about mytho tome spend order; as in buy chest first, then pants, etc...
I appreciate the help guys.
Would also like to know peoples opinions on this, asked before but the subject didn't get much attention.
I did a quick comparison on the stats of allagan and myth pieces, and I found that for warrior, the chest hands and legs pieces are the same stats, so for those 3 pieces, it's an either or option for me when it comes to spending mythos on them. I'm not much of a number cruncher, but from what I have now and what sort of stats (acc needs to be 482 for example), I would have to get the allagan head, boots.
I'd say, just run coil, see your luck on drops/roll and just spend accordingly
If youre gonna be running BC, youre going to need the accuracy (i think T5 is around 482) so try and gear yourself in whatever myth/allagan gear gives you acc. If they both do, choose which ever piece looks the best or has the 2ndary stat you prefer

As a warrior, I am personally going for:
Myth Body
Myth Head
Myth Ring (tank)
I have filled everything else up with dark light. I made my mind up that I wasn't going to bother with crafting or testing my luck with allagan. I want to be geared up and carry my own weight (heavy Roegadyn!) in all events, hence why I still don't have my relic.
I worked out that with this gear I should have 480+ accuracy (enough for coil). It should give me about 8000hp (enough to tank nearly everything). And importantly the body/visor looks great. Nearly there :)
Primary objective pre coil for Warrior is to get crafted accessories, Mainly Gryphonskin and Rose Gold earrings cause those ACC are going a long way for ACC starved warrior. Darksteel Chest+Head and Legs+Boots are cheaper in tome cost to craft but severely lacking in accuracy which you will need to meld in however they have better potential strength than Darklight ones. Unfortunately, you will still have to run Amdapor to prepare yourself a Hoplite Circlet, Leggings and Boots in the event you get an Allagan upgrade.
Myth upgrade sadly Headpiece isn't a good choice but you have no choice since you don't have a iLvl 80 equivalent and iLvl 90 drops off Turn 5. If you have gone Gryphonskins you can skip accessories and focus more on Melding them proper and spend you Myth on either Weapon or other Pieces like Belt > Glove > Legs > Chest in sequential order from higher turn drops to lower.

I guess I should have elaborated a little more. My raid group is on T5 already, and I am running it as pally, but find it incredibly boring. So I want to switch to warrior without hurting my raid group in the process.
From what i'm getting from the link and posts I should be aiming at:
Accessories - Gryphonskin Choker, Gryphonskin Ring x2, Gryphonskin Wristband, Rose Gold Ear Screws
Helm - Hoplite/Myth until Allagan
Chest - Warrior/Allagan
Hands - Warrior/Allagan
Belt - Allagan
Pants - Warrior/Allagan
Boots - Warrior
With this I should pass acc cap, and be pretty set on gear.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, what you've posted would work well enough. It's pretty close to what I've been looking at for a while. A few comments:
Boots: Allagan boots don't work well with Myth helm because accuracy. So Myth hat+Myth boots, or Allagan Helm+Allagan Boots -- don't mix them.
Belt: Allagan clearly preferred.
Jewelry: If you want pure Vit, then you need Allagan/Myth. Personally I prefer crafted because you give up a small amount of Vit to get a bigger amount of STR & secondary stats. If gil is an issue, you can do Rose Gold (tank) jewelry instead of Gryphonskin. Cheaper to meld Str than Vit. And the end result is basically the same, minus Dex (and I don't value Dex much).
As a warrior I went Myth Body first, Myth Hat second, Myth Belt third. It seems that you get 0 acc from either myth or alagan legs so I am waiting to get the Alagan Legs since that will save 850 tomes to use for the +1 and will buy the myth boots. After all that I am still going to be at around 765 or so ACC. The alagan earing will fix that however. :)
