How long did you take to beat Titan?

It's been almost 3 weeks for me now.../sigh

I did manage it to 10% of his lp,but people always die.
I really don't know what to say anymore seeing Party members die &almost blaming everytime 'It was lag!!!'

What the hell is with this battle?Are people just impatient &/or dumb...still failing to dodge crap after 3 hours or is Titan hm cursed? I did Titan with my FC/rdm party.How do people on other servers deal with this issue?
Is it that hard to memorize the Rotations? *geez
But what bothers me the most are rage quits,rude players who don't admit their mistake...:( I like & know the battle mechanic , but after endless failures it's not funny anymore just freakin frustrating tbh.
I enjoy this game,but now stuck at this obstacle.

Mateus server, trying with the same people took us two days.

Think it took... a week? Except I only really tried for the first day, then decided to get full DL first, then 6 days later I got into a titan party, had some FC healers help out (fight is more of a challenge for healing than anything else), and got the win.

Everything is actually pretty easy to dodge, but we all screw up sometimes and go "how the hell did I just do that?" In an 8 person party, at least 1 person doing that happens pretty often. That and also people still learning the mechanics; some will be able to figure out what to do after the first few tries, some will read up on the fight and figure it out almost as fast, and others will take a while (even with researching the fight).

I'll gladly avoid and buy this battle when necessary for my Relic, no way I'm going back to WoW-like stress and frustration.

A question, Why do you need this relic if your not into raiding? (Cause raiding sometimes causes stress) Genuine question.

Also 1st relic I did with 3 pieces of DL and an Ifrit book, FC did it in 3 shots I believe (cant remember)

No more than a few hours. My group got the coordination down and we nailed it.

To what end though? Only reason to get your Relic, and beat Titan is to get into Coils, which is just more of the same....

I agree with your first point but as to your second... assuming you did it with your FC. I would certainly call that being carried. Having half your DL and AK gear for the rest is one thing, but 3 DL pieces?

So titan can be done in bikini's but not 3 pieces of DL? with 3 pieces (and AK gear) you have over 3.1k hp which is satisfactory.

If your referring to Type of group for titan, I wouldn't ever PUG DF randoms for it, so I don't know what you would want me to say, Everyone in my FC had DL gear not full DL but some. this was of course the first month of release.

A week of pugs, then I built a party with some people who had relics in my FC. We died twice and got him on the third go. Everyone performed flawlessly and I had a tear coming down my eye. A tear of joy to see that there are actually people out there who know how to play and don't suck dragon balls evolution.
