DL gear

So nobody wants to do runs unless u have DL gear but have to do the runs to get DL gear so what can i do to get DL gear spam lvl 45 runs?

Just run CM, you don't need DL gear for that. Only Artifact. Only WP and AK need Dark Light, but even Artifact is possible, but it just take really long and not as efficient.

The DF is your friend, it's like a tool in your toolbox, it's there, so just use it. Just watch a vid on YouTube about WP and AK, and don't tell anyone it's your first time. Also make sure you have a decent won, say from Ifirit or Garuda. Good luck.

Buy the GC ilvl55 weapon and do either CM or WP. Both are acceptable in AF and 40~ 50 accessories.

Knowing your class is more important than having DL in 'early endgame' anyways. I've met individuals in AF doing better dps than some people in DL.

WP and AK doesn't need DL. I started farming AK and WP once I hit 50 with my FC who just hit 50 as well. You need to be decently geared with around level 45+ gear and know how to play your job.

I love how the elitism in MMOs now has reached a point where it's deemed you "need" gear 10 to 15 ilvls above the dungeon you want to do. WP is not only possibly in artifact, is in entirely 100% intended to be done in AF gear with a white 50 weapon. AK as well is completely clearable in AF plus some ilvl55 greens. This game is going to reach a point in a few months where unless you already have a relic you won't get one due to no one taking you to even do the quest objectives, and unless you have a +1 and full allagan/AF 1.5 you can forget any premades for anything. Absurd.

yeah thats what i thought i do use DF but once i get in people leave as soon we start i dont have the worst gear 3 peices of tuxo gear cause FC took me through once cause people kept leaving and i have once peice of DL gear and lvl 55 bow

Unfortunately, people consider doing runs in WP and AK to be more of a job rather than enjoyment. That's pretty much the only reason why so many want party members with DL, since it takes a lot less time with fully geared dps classes.

Unless there are people that truly believe WP and AK are too hard without DL. That'd be quite silly :p

I gave up trying to run CM for tokens. Out of 3 attempts, the tanks bailed at the start of 2 runs because he felt we were "undergearred" due to a lack of DL and/or relics.
