FFXIV & Regional Subscription Differences
Hello Again,
I apologize I recently had a thread here: Australia & EU Region Subscription Costs that I was awaiting a response on. Although as you can see below, the response I eventually received didn't really address the topic at hand at all, and I can only assume it was an automatic response given to threads that don't see activity over a certain period of time.

Good Luck!
So I'm doing as suggested and posting another thread to try and get a proper response from someone at SE who hopefully, will actually reads this and the previous thread this time.
The crux of my argument is that being based in Australia, and friends that are in Singapore and New Zealand who are using the EU version of the game are forced to pay for their subscriptions in Euros which is a costly currency for us to convert to, when we can convert to alternatives like the GBP and USD at a cheaper price.
I'd really like to know, or hear from SE why people who have to pay in a non native currency are locked into using the most expensive currency to convert to over the cheaper alternatives that are available, why not let us choose from the currencies you do supply a subscription cost in? The money we lose in converting to an acceptable currency is a bit of a sting when we consider it doesn't actually go to SE's coffers but the banks we are buying the currency from.
