Just wondering if anyone has lost, discarded, or mis-purchased an item and have success with SE support fixing it?
If you phone them, yes.
I've spent countless hours creating tickets, in live-chat trying to get an issue fixed. I phoned them, fixed.
When I created a new service account instead of updating the one I was using, I contacted the SE support via live-chat and they fixed it almost instantly.
I had some "tricks" to get through the live chat.

-Click on FF XIV
-Click on "Billing and payment issues"
-Scroll down and then click on "Additional Assistance".
-Select "Account/Billing" and "Aditional Services" then fill the field with a brief description of your issue.
-You may receive some related entries for your issue or it will say "there's nothing related to your issue". Click on "next".
-Scroll down. Select live support. They may be available according to your country.
