Item Level 70 Spiritbonding stuck at 1%?

Now i know during todays update any gear used inside a dungeon gets spiritbonded, also i know before the update "Avengers" could not be spiritbonded and could be used then re-sold.
They could not be "converted" even though on the item description it says they can be Converted.
Now after todays update they get binded to me and spiritbond increases to 1% but stays at 1%.
i went through Wanderer's and Amdapor Keep and they still at 1% Spiritbond.

Even though the description says "Convertible" they cannot be since they are stuck on 1%.

Suggestions?

This is intended. The first 1% is just to bind it to you.

It's designed to stop people reselling crafted items after they have used them. The items aren't meant to continue spiritbinding beyond 1% until you start fighting higher level monsters in Bahamuts Coil (and soon Crystal Tower).

If SE were to allow people to Spirit Bond item level 70 stuff on any level monster then the materia market would go to hell!

Yes.. because people are going to crush items worth 700k for one materia.

This sounds like a bug to me. Either they forgot to code something in to keep the text to Non-Convertible or the ability to spiritbond for this item (and possibly others) is messed up.

Try submitting a bug report in the In-Game Bugs section. Be sure to use the full template even though it may not apply so that they don't just close your thread.

Convertible means it can be converted to materia once 100% soulbound, not that it can be converted at that moment. Non-convertible means that it can never be converted to materia, even when 100% souldbound.

You only gain iLvl70 item spiritbond in the Binding Coil. This has not changed. Like others have said, the 1% was merely done so people would no longer be able to sell iLvl70 stuff even after using it for a long time.
