Maker's muse, preserve, fulfillment, tender touch pretty much all the time. They all seem to do close to nothing.
I did get blacksmith to 10 just for maker's muse, though in retrospect it was probably a waste of time. -

Ingenuity is very nice. I also variously use Assemble and Grand Design.
If I'm working a difficult material synth, I'm generally using Maker's Muse, Fulfillment, Grand Design, and either Ingenuity or Assemble. -

Preserve and harmonize are synth savers, especially when crafting finished items like a shiny new piece of armor or weapon.
