Couple things you can try:
Get a copy of RealTemp which you can download online. Start the game up and run it and watch the temps of your first two processor cores. (FFXIV only uses the first two and greatly overtaxes the first 1). If either of them are above 80C, you are damaging your CPU and it probably cannot handle the game. Edit: Above 90C there is a chance it will start to melt because of the heat.
If above is the case, you need an Active Heatsink on your CPU. Not just a stock fan. Noctua NH-12U would be ur best bet. Assuming Desktop.
If laptop, you really cant do much about the heat; sadly.
Your card isn't the greatest to be running this game, which will cause stuttering as well, check temp on this as well. Drop all graphic settings, use CSAA for AA, MSAA is not properly fixed by SE yet, turn off bloom and shadows as bloom doesnt work properly and shadows are not needed.
The sound crash is due to a freq setting in your speakers. You have to set them to some lvl of MHZ otherwise sometimes they will just cut out. SE has not fixed this yet.
Do not damage your hardware to play this game, you will regret it later; get the proper hardware first.
