Sidequests/classes
Once the sidequests have been done with main class, it would be nice if they where still available for the other classes we create. Main class and storyline quest you expect to only do them on your main class, but as we are able to create every class this game offers why not let's us re do the side quests. Seems a fair suggestion because to make these classes we are stopping the progress of our main.

I completely agree.
I didn't realise neither, once your main character has finished a side quest that's it for the other character classes. So, It's going to be difficult to level. your 4th character (imagine) on lv 35+ cause FATES don't come around often and i'm sure by then the 4th character with the other 3 at max cap lv it would be very time consuming. Dungeons don't necessarily dish out much XP at the end of them, except for actually being in a dungeon. I can't remember the exact xp earned whilst doing ''temple of qarn'' but I think at lv 27 it was about 800xp and at the end of that I only achieved 8000xp. That's pretty poor since dungeons take a while compared to FATES.

I believe dungeons give more than that, i can remember on a few occasions when i recieved over 20k+ exp from a low level dungeon and still got exp at the end also.

I noticed there seems to be two areas per level range per starter zone. So I'm going to try leaving one of the two areas for a later class. If we can do that in all 3 starter areas that would give some quests for 6 different classes. Of course that for lower level play only I guess. Once you leave the starter areas it won't be so easy.

Dungeons may be ok for those that have plenty of time, but for those of us that don't having the ability to do the side quests on each class would of great help. Plus as Gil is so hard to come by, the quests would also boost income.

Many of the sidequests don't make sense to repeat, as they tell a story or are in a chain.

I still recommend doing dungeons and guildhests on every class you level. It's important to know how to play that role in those situations. Plus you get exp and, hopefully, loot. It would be nice if you had more quests, yes, but in the meantime I say do dungeon runs.

I've leveled my main class to 25 just by doing the main quest, and AVOIDED any side quests. I did repeat each dungeon once, but I've always been a higher level than the main stroy requires... I don't understand why you would do side quests if you don't need the experience (just do the main quest), and then complain that you need more experience????
Between the hunting log, guildhests, leves, company quests... I'm having the opposite problem. There are quest icons everywhere!

Technically, levequests were supposed to be the equivalent of repeatable sidequests, are they're essentially the same thing stripped of lore and centralized to one specific NPC. Unfortunately though, the exp gained from them is rather lackluster, but I suppose that's to compensate for being able to repeat a levequest whenever you feel like.
Don't forget also that each class gets it's own set of hunts in the Hunting Log, and some can give a large amount of exp too. ;)

I've done 3 classes to 50 now: Warrior, Paladin, White Mage. Working on Black Mage next - currently at 20.
First class I did questing largely, with some dungeons/FATE. PLD got more dungeon heavy with some side quests I'd skipped as well. WHM just a few side quests, largely dungeons, and hunting log/FATE thrown in while in dungeon queue or can't play long.
You'll notice how heavily dungeons factor in. It's because I enjoy them, more than because trying to speed level. FATEs should level you faster if you set it up right.
From my perspective, more side quests would be OK but not necessary. As already mentioned, Battlecraft Leves are really supposed to fill this role. But they're too low on reward currently, so just use them for crafting/gathering or ignore altogether.
