I want to get a Slate Grey chocobo to match Rogue, but I am just going one 'feather change' at a time. It is mostly just random at the moment with no real direction, just seing where each colour takes me.

I decided recently that during these last few days of free login I should see the world of Eorzea again. After the lengthy process of transferring from my old ps3 account to the ps4, I spent most of yesterday progressing from where I left off in the story, doing past dungeons and whatnot. It was a marvelous time, far from what I expected given having not logged in for nearly a year. I figured I would run into the rage groups still even though I was not at the higher level dungeons yet (stone vigil was completed yesterday), but save for one group that went afk and then left, all the folks I met through the duty finder were great in behavior and understanding. Punched a lot of monsters, passed on loot unless it had any use for my monk, and had a grand time seeing how far my rest bonus would go (several levels actually). Anyways, just want to give a shout out to all the unknown folks I met recently, and best wishes to the community who have helped make a great world to visit.

Exactly. I’ve been with Final Fantasy 14 since the 2nd Alpha phase and i’ve never stopped. Well… Except for the time where my computer died on me and took 1 ½ month to get the parts i wanted for a new one. Hahaha.

It feels weird that it has “only” been 1 year since ARR has been released. I’ve done a lot of things in the game and i’m still thoroughly enjoying myself (read: totally addicted to the game). Also , a lot had changed in the game since it’s release in 2013. While a lot of people will not agree with me, during the course of the past year, the FFXIV team has laid a solid foundation for them to work with. Some of these foundations were embraced by many, but there were other foundations that were frowned upon by others.

While there is still a lot of room for improvement, the FFXIV team has done one heck of a job, turning 1.0 into the game we are playing right now. I take my Chapeau off and take a deep bow in thanks for bringing us a game enjoyed by many.

I think i can safely say that all of us here are looking forwards to what the FFXIV team has in store for us with the next 3 patches (2.38, 2.4 and 2.5) as well as the upcoming expansion.

I found my class ring from 11 years ago. In addition to feeling old, I have to get it resized now because if I put it on any finger other than my pinky, it ain't coming off. Anyone still have their class ring?

Over here we don't have things like a class ring. (^_^; ) I don't think i've ever been on a school which keeps track of / gives a class yearbook. heh.

Maybe its the equivalent of a senior jersey? In Aus I think for most schoolsm the year 12s get a jersey/jumper with the last 2 digits of the year in the centre on the back and their name or nickname above on the shoulderblades. The patterns/colours of the jersey match the school colours.

Mine was grey and maroon >.<., I lost it somewhere I then when moving between 2nd and 3rd year of Uni.

I still have my jersey, though 10 years on I'm not entirely sure why. Everytime I mention I am going to throw it out, people always tell me "No!!!" so it hangs forever in my cupboard.

For once my main character as a monk has pants other than subligar. Had an Aetherial set on since lv37, and I just could not take any story cutscene seriously. Loot in dungeons was always anything but pants, I swear!

Anyways, with how many nice Lalafell folks I encountered, and having been a Roegadyn for so long, I am half tempted to make a Lalafell character. Although I should if I do start out as a healer or tank class (I really should learn those roles), I have yet to ever encounter a Lalafell archer, and I kind of want to see that, lol.

Those are nice o.o Definitely don't have anything like that here in Aussieland. Would be kinda cool if our schools gave out bling like that though XD

I never finished school (for various reasons, long story), but I'd've had great pleasure in oggling friends' rings.

These look neat!
We don't have such thing here in GER too. It is only common to have a motto for your graduation and print them on t-shirts or hoodies. Maybe stickers for your car too.
The motto of my year was (roughly translated): ABI Rouge - Out of the red pen millieu
ABI is just the short form of Abitur which is kinda the same as A-Levels and the highest degree from school here.

Often when a school has a company come in to sell class rings, said company will try to get folks to buy pendants, bracelets, etc. I remember the most important thing if one was to get a ring was insurance, since it was quite easy for folks to lose them. I remember my sister losing hers twice iirc.

Well, I finally got to 50 with my monk, and I am just at the first lv50 story mission as well after going for my final monk quest. Did not see that coming, and I feel for Ala Mhigo even more than I already did when I first started out as a Pugilist. It was a long journey, but I enjoyed it all the same. I hope to wrap up the story before I am forced off tomorrow, but I am thinking about coming back, just not sure how to balance with coursework...

Also discovered that all my custom character designs I had saved for each race & gender disappeared with the transfer to ps4 sadly.

But... I'm not really sure about the circlet. I don't really want to get the Serpent Elite Circlet and i don't see a lot of choice on the market boards either. This Circlet of the Divine Harvest was the best i could find right now. Anyone have a suggestion for a nicer circlet?
