Usually I'm not happy with covering my bunnygirl's face, 'cause she is just too pretty, but this headpiece is just awesome and it perfectly fits the kinda dark, tribal theme I am going for ^^

I went miqote, I couldnt stand to look at my viera in the cutscenes. They have completely failed to transfer the noseshadows,so she suddenly had a massive nose and well, we all know about the lipchanges. It was almost a bit funny in the sadness. But after my switch I had 3 other face four vieras text me that they couldnt deal with it, and they wanted to fantasia as well, I know at least two of them did. It is strange in the end, how this graphical update (and the lack of hats) actually made it so I could let her go so much easier than I thought I would. She just looked....ugly and wrong.

I wasn't happy with what they did to my Veena either. I really didn't like how the eyebrows I've been using since I turned into Viera looked. Those are eyebrows 2 on face 1 Veena, to be precise. I tried my best to adjust my character as much as I could, but nothing could be done to make her look appealing for me. Some of the eyebrows looked better, but they were too harsh for my liking, I like my bungirl with soft eyebrows which give her face a more delicate, younger feeling. The only option for me was to fantasia and I changed to miqo, but I managed to stay as miqo for maybe 3 hours before I started missing my bunny ears and I realized there's no way I can feel that my WoL is indeed my WoL if she's not Viera at least, however alternated she has to become. I changed back to Viera, but this time to Rava, because I really wanted face 1 and eyebrows for face 1 for Veena was just a big no for me. This is how she turned out and I have to say, I'm pretty happy with that. She's obviously not the same as my old WoL, but close enough for me.

Like you, I often use fantasia so I’m not in the same position as someone who played the exact same character since the beginning. But it still hurts.

Edit : I played a face one Veena for a while too (see my signature), I should try to pass her on Rava like you did. Then maybe I could find some of the old vibes back.

That's basically what I did, yes. Everything is the same when it comes to the facial features - eyes, nose, mouth, face shape etc, the eyebrows I used for my Rava are also number 2, like I used for my Veena, which give the softest vibe to the face in my opinion. Only the skin color and hair color are different, because of course there are differences between clans, but I actually like them a lot.

That being said, however happy I may be, I will of course miss my Veena's cute face, because this is what I've been used to for most of my gameplay. But it is what it is! I really hope people find their happiness again in their characters. And if they don't find the happiness in what it is like right now, I hope the devs will see their complaints and will be able to do something about it. Time will tell.

She's beautiful! I'm in the same boat, I haven't quite changed her yet but I just do not like Veena Face 1 eyebrow options anymore. Do you mind me asking which Rava skin tone you're using? :)

I usually go for the warmest skin tones possible, but this time I wanted to try something that would go better with this hair color that she has, cause it's kinda ashy light brown and warm skin tones don't go that well with it :D so I chose something with a bit of a grey-ish undertone but also not going into pink too much. Here is a picture without any filters on:

I am truly happy with my miqo. She has been great throughout the expansion and she looks adorable in everything. It is also so nice to actually get to see the hats immediately when trying them. I couldnt imagine going viera again until they fix the hats. But by then I have probably gotten so used to my miqo that she feels too much like me! In my head my viera and my miqo met and my viera decided she needed to rest after everything and so she gave her light to the miqo (they share the same colour eyes) and that is how I could more easily let my viera go. I took this pic before the update. Miqo has purple eyes, as it is before she takes over the blue.

Oh my gods, may I say, you really made me tear up with that story AND the picture you made with both of them on top of that! That is such a creative way of dealing with loss of a beloved character. And it makes me extremely happy to hear that you are satisfied with your miqo, because I know you were really upset about what happened to your viera. I absolutely adore your Viera. You did a good job recreating something for you.
Funnily I am also an avid user of the eyebrows 2 on most faces. I haven't looked into my Viera yet, playing Moon Keeper and being pretty happy at the moment. But we shall see when I fantasia if I also have to change things. But I rather stay snow bunny, Rava has too dark skin colors for my liking.
But as I said I love yours. I can appreciate gorgeous looking Ravas.

That's so heartwarming, thank you so much! And I completely understand you, because in most of the games I've played, I usually go for light skin, snowy kind of vibes to make them look either elf-like or goth-like. This time however I tried to do something else and I actually love it too, it's like a breath of fresh air for me ^^
