Hmm... not sure. I was glad to finally get miner marathoned from 38 to 50 in one go with a full stack of 100 levequests. I'm not actually done with the MSQ yet, so I haven't even started the real end game content yet (I'm close though, at Cape Westwind!).
Fav spot in Eorzea?
All of it is beautiful, and so for me, this actually really comes down in large part to the music. I absolutely love the calming song of Raincatcher Gully, and pretty much all the Thanalan areas. Which brings me to a question I will pose to everyone else:

Burning Wall. First time in game when the scenery took my breath away. I was exploring at ngiht and ran through sandgate and came out of the tunnel to a clear starry sky and the glowing amber aether.

The real trick with with songs is knowing when to stop singing. If you just let your MP deplete to zero, you've probably cut your damage output by more than you needed to.
Also, if you have black mages and summoners in your party, try playing Foe's Requiem when people are trying to go all out. That song doesn't cut your own damage output, plus boosts the damage output of the mages. Just remember to time it right.
eg: Titan's Heart.
