They weren't "dead" yet, and until 6.2 we had no definitive proof Azdaja was still around. As I said, hypocrisy. Our enemies must "Forge Ahead" and forget the past and their painful mistakes. We get to fix anything and everything we and our friends regret with little flaws or mishaps to show for it. I'm tired of Square trying to pretend this isn't happening.
As far as I'm concerned, Venat for all she saved the world was not a morally uprighteous person and I'm glad she's gone. 'Tis the least penance she can stand to serve for annihilating an entire people. Now, if only the narrative would STOP reminding me how convenient it was that what Sundered Azem became was suddenly The Mothercrystal's Brave Little Toadie after she'd forgotten what her "mentor" did to her and the world she loved so much.
