Rank 2 hunter FTW! Thanks to expert FC gardeners and crafters, I am minion’d up and ready for the patch!

I stayed up til 1am this morning (that is when the daily quests reset) so I could pick up Morbid Motivation and do expert. Maintenance is 1pm – 9pm for us Aussies but I’m working til 4. With the roulette changes I’d have to do all the quests and each dungeon once in order to do the new expert, so with the chance that servers might crash or login queues might prevent me from getting in on time, I thought it would be smarter to do it as soon as possible to get the map. Downside is I’m tired as hell.

Oh and shoutout to a good deed done. I had a map in my inventory and one open (which I thought was a boar I’d harvested), so I went off to complete the open map only to find it was a mysterious map and I got the Bombast which killed me on Bard. I shouted for a raise and this WHM came over and raised me. I had about 2 mins left on the clock, so I invited him to party and he helped me kill it with 20 secs to spare. He didn’t even take the split gil from opening the chest. I couldn’t not /grovel enough.

Where is everyone thinking of logging out? What do you plan to start first? I found this useful list on reddit

A lot of things seem to start in Mor Dhona central. Personally I logged out inside Rising Stones, hoping it is a little less congested than Revenant’s Toll central so I can start on the story. Then I think I’ll pick up all the quests around and then start up chocobo. I’ll save Hildebrand for later when things are more settled …. or when I decide to down the Rekorderlig I have in the fridge XD

Mor Donna Is my home point and I hate that place with a crashing passion, I will not log out there ever. usually I log out In new grid an inn room or our FC hairball manor. I'm logged out in grid right now. I kinda try to avoid logging out in Mor donna not only for the fact it crashed my game often, it's usually updated are reavenats toll and i'd rather ride up to it then be there immediately. But even then, This indeciceive person will spend a good 2-3 hours making minor joke and complaint about what to do first. (Likely get a room cause what miqo'te will not get a room to them selves if given the chance?)

Lol, that site is user-update dependant, so there are probably many more with more than me, but until they get added I will enjoy my high rank.

I logged off in The Gridania's market spot where I do most of my crafting and log off 99 % of the time (I can reach the bell, MB and a vendor from there, super convenient :D ). At the moment I have no Idea what I will be doing first: maybe will unlock new instances, do the hunt, or try to find the new map. When I get back to work there will probably be people that already killed Ramuh... Starting gardening for the chocobo raising would be a good idea too, but at the moment got no clue what to plant.

It's been a good 1st day of the 2.3 patch. I'm loving the Hullbreaker Isle and Syrcus Tower so far. Managed to get the Healer Body from Syrcus Tower.

What did you feed your chocobo? How much exp do they get? Is it worth to level them in the stables before level 10?

Didn't really do much of the new contents. Best thing today was that Odin gave me 5 mantles and Atma of the Archer :)

Also, does SE not want anybody talking about the slap in the face today about the tickets and saying the 400 advance tickets they have left is suppose to be some sort of relief or solution?

When you do the "Bird in Hand" quest, you will get 5 Kakarat Carrots. When feeding that to my Rank 6 Chocobo it got almost 4k experience for 1 training. You can train your Chocobo once every Earth hour.

This dungeon gave me the creeps..... D:

I actually got the Healer Body from CT2 too!
A bit torn if I like it 100% but I will go with it because it's a change in style. Just don't like the cloths at the arms. Would prefer if it drops down instead of stick to your arms when you draw your staff.

they are level 1 (vanity) so try the bottom of the list ^^

Thanks for the reply. I am going to try this today after work. It might not be worth it to level chocobo in the stables before level 10, it seems.

Can you put your chocobo in the stable, train him and take him out right away? I do not want to leave him in the stable.

Hey, is it master recipes needed to craft the Attire Augmentations because I am looking - but I can't find how to bring together my mats so I can hand in the items! lol

Anyone knows if there's a vendor for Kakarat Carrots? I know that the other food types for chocobos can be grown in your garden, but... Well I thought this standard food might be available somewhere else? @.@

There isn't. However, you can buy Krakka root seeds from Material supplier in Dappled stalls/Lavender beds. Should be in other residential areas too.

Even I dropped the caster body from CT2. I though it is obscene (on my elezen) but for some odd reason I begin to think if I can use it as base for glamour.

I love the beard and the fact that the wing guards allow for movement. I prefer bardings that let the chocobo flap when they need to. I think it is my fav barding so far, but the head is a little strange when most of the head pieces have so much volume on top. So I am using the soverign head instead
