That's...a good point actually.

Who said its "hate"? You got the weirdest ideas and thoughts. You like to post twice, no thrice even in a row, and most of the time your thoughts make me facepalm, but else I dont hold a grudge against you.
And I am aware, you are not the only one who wants them just for looks. Im not saying they should look ugly or anything, but maybe we should focus more on the small details instead of "they should have a slim body, some muscles, they should be smaller than females" blabla.
I'd actually appreciate some more details on them so they dont look like 1:1 Elezen with Bunny ears. A fur patch? Maybe some on the forearm? How about scars not on face but the ears?
Also, some hairstyles which are not only long, but also short ones that would look good. Eyes that rather sting and look sharp, while keeping those charasteristic bunny noses.
Actually something Ive crossed not a long time ago is:

https://images.mein-mmo.de/magazin/m...Viera-AuRa.jpg
It does remind me of those lionheads
The event image is always a female showcasing something
And it's rare a male is there that isn't a lalafell
Is it a problem?
not really
I expect them to use Vieira in all the upcoming event banners and Hrothgar for Halloween
In all honestly, as long as they have facial hair options I don't care anymore how they look. Fur on chest/forearms does seem like a nice idea though.
If I am going to be spending hundreds, probably thousands of hours (mmorpg/rpg) I would definitely either like to have an attractive, or cool looking character (both). I am pretty positive the majority of people think the same. People with ugly or clown characters do it for the funny factor. I don't know about "sex appeal", but in a game like this that is down to how any given player decides to outfit, or design their character. I think they should have that option. Granted, I really didn't think ERP and the like was such a big phenomenon until I started playing this game.
To add there is also a subset of players who like to make "cute" characters, usually women, if it's a man I usually think they have ulterior motives.
About the fur patch, it’s one of those traits I’d hope to be optional and maybe bundled in with an existing feature slider, like the facial feature one... even if it isn’t one strictly speaking.
who knows could just be apart of there racial gear
like hrothgar nails
I actualy too can't understand the people who wants the male Viera just for looks... I'm here because it's dumb to have only one part of the cake. You give one - give us second to make it whole. But anyway, if you want to talk about visual appearance, then hear me out. Mates. Male Viera are ALL freaking RAMBOS if you know even a little about their culture. So there will be NO LITTLE BOYS, NO SMALLER THAN FEMALE, they are all must be FIT, with scars, cold and sharp eyes. They NOT ASKING QUESTIONS, they shot you down if you even get a little closer to the den. I would like to see some idian/aztec haircuts (mohawk etc.),some facial warpaint. Viera are "coldblooded". It's their nature and culture. So we should have the proper male represantation of hardened ranger, silent warior, not some sex-toy. They are not SLIM, they are FIT and ripped. Imagine some Boa-snake that silently wates in the trees and looking for anyone foolish enough to cross the invisible border of their den. That's what they are. now make that boa male and more humanoid, then give it some hare ears. That's what male Viera are. And I will not agree for any less.
Actually, Yoshi P described male viera as slim in an interview. Matsuno also described them being fit. So male viera would probably be slim and fit.
"If we did create a male design for the Viera, he would be quite elegant, handsome, and slim. He would look more like the Elezen race, but with bunny ears."

I think it would be more accurate to say they won't be smooth. One doesn't have to be Rambo to show that they work out, but Viera live in an unforgiving environment where slacking off or being weak literally gets them killed.
