Oh, how have we ever gotten here from the days of D&D, when people wanted to play elf paladins? Same old argument, same new spin. I say, if SE has a reason for them not to be there because of some plot element (like in 11) then let it stand. If they don't, and they don't care, then add them. If its a simple matter of not wanting/being unable to afford mo-cap for the new models, well, I'd rather they apply the funds, time, and energy to other, more game-wide improvements. As neat as it would be to have man'qote, the simple fact is that race does not matter for mechanics; its just fluff. If, after the mechanics are worked out, fluff is still on the menu, that's another matter.
