Then don't, manually create your own parties, nobody is forcing you to use content finder. I personally am all for anything that gets me into the action faster.

Why, because anyone on a server other than your own doesn't know how to play?
Hamlet defense is Instanced? Jesus christ.
Really? Give me the I.P. of the server that has 30 million people on it! I wanna play too!Quote:
So Call of Duty is an MMO now? There's like 30 million people online
COD does not have 30 million people in the SAME PLAY ENVIRONMENT. They are on countless game servers with dozens of players each. Typical MMO Worlds have 1-5k concurrently online players per World.
Oh.. I thought hamlet defense was going to be open world. But.. what? it's another behest?
I dunno why I kept picturing a mini Besieged from XI. Heh.. ._. I R disappoint.
NO SATISFACTION.
Everyone these days is just action action action. No patience at all. No buildup at all.
Just get to the flashiest parts as quick as you can and poop you're done. What's the rush? Where's the struggle? Where's the adventure? Just something you cram together in an hour?
I'm not saying make the game take ages, but lets at least make something I can work with. Something I can work on. Areas I can't just poof to without any danger or commitment. Dungeons I can take my time exploring. Dangerous beasts that feel like a threat alone with the actual possibility of coming across them alone. Mid game content that isn't just kill these enemies near this camp again. Quests that amount to more than a 'kill X of Y' or 'bring this guy Z' taking little more than a minute to do. Remember delivering hats in Windrust? Or protecting that idiot warrior in a Bastoc mine? Or struggling to get to Jeuno for the first time?
Come on, lets put a little salt on this bad boy! Rub the dirt on our wounds! I WANT TO CONQUER THE GAME, NOT JUST EXPERIENCE IT!

I do kinda hope that theres an intermediate option:
You'r looking for 8 people, but currently you have 2 buddies and 1 LS member looking to group. Content finder can help you fillout the remaining slots.
I rather have my content finder where I can log in and get into the action much faster. Is it so hard to understand that some people would enjoy this much more over waiting in town for hours shouting?
You people who don't like it can feel free to shout in town make your own groups or go make a group with your LS and do stuff. So you really aren't effected by this at all because you can still do stuff the old way.
Its been a nice feature for many other content finders. Sometimes its been just myself and my buddy looking for a group. helps ya get going but your still playing with your friends. When guildies were on, we had our run. but when their not its hit or miss. Always nice when your and your friends scheduals match up to be able to get the ball rolling.
Hey guess what content finder effects EVERYONE, EVERYONE! Even the people that don't wanna use it. Ya, ok cool, I will continue to shout... but I'll be shouting twice or more longer than I would normaly. You know why? Because people will be not looking for groups with shout, they will just pop right in the game and do a raid. Meaning, less people for me to play with and others.
I don't care about content finder in essence I've said it many times that it is advocating far too much instancing of content though.
I like my MMO's to be Massive and Multiplayer, Instances are just multiplayer. I want the game world to feel alive not become a glorified lobby.
My reaction is a mixed bag I understand why instanced content for now, the servers are not up to snuff or whatever they are waiting for 2.0 for the bulk of content development.
My only concern is we haven't heard anything on the side of open world content, everything I hear about is instanced content. With some luck E3 will if anything answer some questions we all have about the future of the game.
There is no enjoyment or adventure to be found in standing around in town for hours trying to form a party that is not what i play this game to do. We are not talking about the length of content we are talking about the speed of getting a party to experience content.
