Well, I got a code now, but it says my code is invalid.
Just got it today with a message that said “sorry for the delay.”
Instead of sending me the damned codes that I have been waiting for (3rd July for me now), SE has the nerves to send me an email for "FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers – OUT NOW! Purchase from: SE Store & PS Store".
Well played SE. REALLY well played.
Got mine today, didn't even realize I needed a second code for main release after prelaunch.
It's not very encouraging when this entire thread is from people who are having issues from the SE aligned store while 3rd party stores seemed to have gotten theirs out with no issues, Hope you all get your codes very soon.
I ordered my CE, pc download copy from the SE store.
The code did show up on my order status page when I checked about an hour ago, I registered the code on the mogstation with no issues.
Fingers crossed everyone gets theirs soon/any issues resolved asap!
No e-mail, but the code just appeared on my purchase page recently.

okay I went to EU store - and -> unlocked the CDkey in there, now I got it
Two purchases, one code, then... no.
I don't think you get emails this time around, at least for those who purchased it throught the SE Store. I had to go check on the page to get it and I didn't get any mail to inform me of this.
didnt get a mail from SE store for the main key but I got it on the store itselfe and happy now
My purchase of 2 keys but only got 1 got sorted today after I sent a ticket in yesterday.
Got a reply from support with my second key. Apparently a lot of people had that issue, hopefully everybody gets it sorted in time!
Edit: Nevermind, i'm a godsdamned moron and entered it in the wrong place...
Purchased mine through PSN and had a license confirmation box thingy pop-up at login either yesterday or the day before, can't remember. Mog Station lists ShB as active now.
Just to follow up for those who say SE does not send an email, there is hope. They are acknowledging the delays at least.

Yeah I got my letter yesterday and unlocked my code and half they did take responsibility for the lateness of it
everyone should have it by now. was delivered sometime in the last few hours
So I received an e-mail and went to the SE store to get the activation key. Thing is, I get as far as the 'Unlock the Activation Key' button, and when I click on it, it just redirects me to a SE store page that's pretty much blank with no code.
Considering no one else has mentioned this problem, I'm assuming it's a problem on my end preventing the code from being displayed. Is it a Google Chrome browser thing?
EDIT: Managed to get it to work by finding my old order confirmation e-mail from back in February and accessing the order from there. Interesting that the page layout was different.
I have received my ShB code which gave me the mount, minion and gunbreaker glamour weapon.
I received the key code but then it needs me to log in to the members site to get it...only for some reason it says my saved information is wrong and the password reset option loops back around to the other regular store...where I can log in fine. So....What now? This seems like an awful lot of hassle for something I paid for and already registered ones for early access.
Remember, you are dealing with 2 different entities that have no desire to interact. Scalefast runs the store in NA, because SE does not want to be burdened with foreign transactions, and has a free hand in how it is handled. SE runs everything else game wise. As long as you have the current setup there will be no improvement.
What does the activation look like for physical CE ? Unboxed the CE package but I couldn't find anything that remotely look like an activation key. Seems my activation key is missing :(
Has anyone had difficulties registering the activation key? When trying to activate the key I get the "This code is invalid" error message....
I have tried copy and paste, manually entry, cleared browser cache, and different browsers with no prevail. I created a support ticket, but won't hear back till some time Friday due to SE support hours.
I had to go back to my original invoice to find my code,using the links SE provided in their latest email sent me to a blank page.
Why in the world do i need to click "Unlock activation key" button if i already ordered game? why they cannot just send the via e-mail? I just figured that i need to click that button and now "Your key is being processed and it will be available here soon or when the product is released."
God knows when i will get my key, i had early access and now my character stuck in new area so cannot even logon.

I just got locked out this morning, It wants ANOTHER registraion code. (I thought that's what I entered to start my preorder's early access..)
I found an "Order is Ready" email from 7/2, which says to get my reg code from the store. BUT, when I follow the convoluted path to the "Your Orders" section, it says I have no orders (!)
I have an order number from my original confirmation email, but there's no way to look up the order with the actual number. I need to pick it our of a list that diesn't exist for me.
Oh well, I guess I'll go back to WoW until they fix it, or better, do some house cleaning.
Successfully ordering the product should automatically activate the product, not send us on some silly hunt for a code on on one website so we can manually transfer it to another site. Aren't their servers connected to one another?
UPDATE: I found a 6/7 email (By searching for "Shadowbringers" that had a link that led directly a page with a good registration code. No need to go and find it on the store.. It failed when I tried to enter it on the launcher pop-up, but when I entered it on my game account page, it worked. Logged in again.
I literally cannot play the game because I ordered Shadowbringers with an email that isn't attached to an SE store account. Oh my freaking god man ..this is frustrating ..
Well, my package hasn't arrived yet because of the horrible post system of Mexico and I can't play ShB content.
So... I hope next time SE just sends the collectibles in the collectors edition and give an online code to play, as they're not delivering anymore physical copies of the game...
The reason is, this is from reading the purchase message before accepting, that you have the right to return the product up till X days after purchase or unlocking the activation code. Once you generate that code, they have no easy way to automatically tell if you used it not. So, it is just a way to give the buyer time to return/refund the item.
