Your healers sure won't thank you for ignoring that you have access to these abilities. You CAN go beyond being just a glass cannon, you know. That's why SE let us have some of those.
Drain\erase is absolutely useful for solo play and when you are one of the last players standing. Again, your healers must love you.
Break - you guessed it, again useful when you are kiting something because your tank is down and you want your healer to have a few extra seconds to get things back under control. Or maybe your healer is dead. Or maybe you are playing solo. I don't know. I don't see a 20s heavy as useless.
Are they situational? Yep. I absolutely agree that they aren't necessary or even appropriate for every single bit of content in the game.
However, Situational != useless and some of you are trying to suggest that it does. And then let's say for the sake of argument that they *are* useless. What are they doing in the kit? You just successfully argued for pruning of a different sort than the compression the rest of us are asking for. We're not asking for fewer abilities (like you just did), we're asking for abilities that are linked together inextricably to be compressed to save space, or the kit reworked in some other meaningful way.
You must not have been here for the beginning of the conversation so I will just steer you back a few pages where were were discussing this. 36 items exactly is just the items in the total kit, not all the items that folks are expected to use and have available that also take up button real estate. I'm not going to start repeating myself.Zitat:
What else do you have on your hotbars because if i'm really generous and let you keep the three mentioned useless role actions you are at around 34 which still far away from 50 buttons. lol
I've said my peace. All my abilities are situationally important and therefore it's appropriate to have them on my bar, in addition to the other items that all players are expected to use and that are convenient to have.
SE could take another look at some of the kits going into the next expansion. We have a lot of abilities to use and if they keep going the way they are going, we'll have three completely different rotations for every job we play at different levels of content. It's not going to be sustainable much further into the future.
