Well the majority won I guess, I personally did not cre either way, I liked the current system but I wouldn't mind auto attack only for ONE reason, so I can type and still attack.

Aside from that I still remain neutral to this subject, part of me is happy for AA, other part is sad to see the system now go.

No, the vocal minority won.

it wasnt majority that won, it was the laud minority, as with all of the world events, majority is not bothering with forums, thay just enjoy game as it is.

You only take into account the NA forums, this topic has been a very heated discussion on all of the other regional forums aswell. Out of all that weighed in more were in favor of it then not.

Congrats everyone, you got your stamina-free damage boost that does the attacking for you so don't have to think so much. Maybe next we can remove all those annoying choices from Synthesis so we can just press <Craft> and not have to worry about all that extra stuff.

Think of auto-attack as a mechanic, rather than an end-all solution.


If it becomes an end-all solution, then that means the game is poorly balanced. (which reminds me...........)

Yup, and give us unlimited Anima to reduce the timesink of walking. Oh, and just cut out the mini-game for gathering as well... it's just a useless timesink and I have to press buttons to do it. Hell, just give me one button I can press to activate the "auto level" mode so I can watch TV while I play.

but that is the problem, game is poorly balanced, and instead of rebalancing the remake it :/

OMG! do you really think thats how it will work?

You have your weapon drawn and you target a mob and you start to pew pew instantly?

NO!

I can guarantee you it will be:
1) draw weapon
2) target mob
3) initiate combat (auto attack)
4) if you need to stop combat you either a) stop auto attack or b) sheath weapon
5) you will still execute skills and abilities as you do now.

and for the facing issue, I'm sure they can code in that engaging with AA doesn't have the autofacing feature enabled. That it's a feature only used for skills/spells/abilities.

They just aren't going to slap Auto Attack in there and be done with it.

Also you people are implying that we, the <30k players that are playing right now, are the "majority" that the current development team is aiming to please, lol.

If you don't want to play a game that has to appease the masses (which are not playing, and thought the game was horrible) to survive right now, then I'm afraid you're playing the wrong game.
