exploit = abusing a bug in the game. This isnt a bug its just an easy possibility to earn seals, if thats a good idea or not is another question ^^

I have to agree with the Garuda exploit, I've been trying for weeks to get people together, I've even offered to help the people who still need the baby fight, I have yet to gather enough people to do it even once. I know another person in my LS tried to form one and failed as well. The worst part is that I really wanted to get the win before the end of 1.0; it looks like that won't happen.
ITT: SE ONLY PATCHES CONTENT WHEN CASUAL PLAYERS WANT TO DO IT!!!
srsly QQ gtfo
The use of exploit in MMOs is ambiguous as it's simply means to profit off of something unintended. In 2010, people exploited Necrologis Pages due to them spawning mobs endlessly, it was unintended for players to sit there and spam mobs that spawned since SE figured people would be trying to complete the leve, not purposefully farming it and failing it.
No, it wasn't glitched or broken either, yet SE themselves called it an exploit.
Yes, but the leve was functioning properly as they programmed it. And that's the key. How people used the leve was immaterial, there was nothing wrong with the leve itself. No one got disciplined by that. Same with Garuda, they didn't expect that people would figure out a way to beat her so simply. But that's how they programmed it so they just had to give kudos to the players for being so clever and strong and eat it. Same with the case of Atomos.
Contrast that to the Cure spamming exploit at launch. That was NOT working as intended and if people didn't own up to exploiting a clear programming error and accept the rollback of characters they were disciplined, at times permanently.
If the dev calls it an exploit its an exploit. If you use the system as designed to create an effect they didnt intend its an exploit EVEN if the system allowed for that action (when the system doesnt allow for an action that happens thats usually a hack, or some may call a bug (but I wouldnt because the bug allowed for it to happen - and bugs are apart of the system))..
Your point is...?
 Yeah your post was so much clearer
