Really? I thought it was fleeting raiju that they did and not forked raiju. I don't watch many shonen animes so I never know these things, but I can sure guess!

Ya, Kakashi does a lightning move called chidori. Was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw them showing that animation in the job previews for endwalker lol.

The frog on NIN isn't just a Naruto reference. It's also a reference to Jiraiya the Gallant. Who in itself, was also a reference to folklore of the same name. As well as the fact that historical ninja were known to employ pyrotechnics and explosives for a myriad of methods and purposes, hence the fire.

The raiju stuff is for sure a Naruto reference, though, as is the run animation. The mudra is something related to the hand seals commonly used in Shinto/Buddhist monastic prayer and ritual, like the Rin-Pyo-To-Sha-Kai-Jin-Retsu-Zai-Zen thing and stuff.

Fake Ninja, everyone knows Kakashi's lightning attack is the Raikiri. Sasuke's the one with the Chidori.

That being said, Fleeting and Forked Raiju is 100% inspired by Kakashi's Purple Lightning jutsu.

Kakashi created chidori. Raikiri and chidori are literally the same ninjutsu.

And this is why the aesthetic turns me away from Ninja every time.

He did some pretty good talking about ninja's things. It's pre-Endwalker though.

When I started to play WoW 17 years ago, my friend told me that every MMO community has a idiot in it. One who undermines the stability of the game. One who cares nothing for the fun of a game.
