People say Power Leveling is an issue, You can easily do Leve's to lvl, It is fast and easy, for you and your friend. Level sync will only make it easier to power level. I believe the biggest issue that everyone chooses to ignore is that Level syncing is a method to encourage and aid in power leveling. with the current level restrictions having 7 other people grouped with you at your level will give you the best yield. I can already see Linkshells power leveling alts because they all just sync. Try finding a real solution that dosnt try to use the "because others are power leveling." This mechanic is completely designed to facilitate Power Leveling. I say, Level LIKE your predecessors, since apparently they had it easy when it took triple to make it through twenty till they reduced the XP needed in a patch.

Power leveling will always be a part of any game, people can whine and complain all they want but the simple facts wont change. If people don't want to party, they wont. If power leveling destroyed MMOs because it circumvents group grinding, they may as well remove the ability to solo altogether. The argument against powerleveling is purely selfish and made up out of thin air by people who will only accept old fashioned methods of leveling. If this weren't the case, it would have been removed by now.

You seem to be missing the point as are some others in this thread, when you are being power-levelled in FFXIV you aren't actually playing the game, someone else is playing it for you.
At least in FFXI you were required to still play the game whilst you were being power-levelled.
Its' not about old fashioned methods either its about enjoying the game and learning your class whilst you level, we may as well just ask for an auto lvl 50 button at this point because some people just want everything handed to them. -
