Stacked with him, but didn't really bother to turn Garuda away from him most of the fight since a couple lustrates was enough to top him off and with how often I was out of cast range to avoid aoe or having to do warp mechanic, mp wasn't much of an issue.

Anyone who dies at this point are simply responding to the draw in itself and timing their Warp strike with it. However, to succeed you must react to the cast bar.
Its just a little mistake that costs your life :3

Did it with Blue to cheese the Microburst ability. Two or three white winds and I never even looked at his HP.

Lol I was playing sch and survived with like 103 hp my first time.

I died the first time I did the event because I poorly timed my warp, but I did it again afterwards with no problem and also had no issue on my alt.

Are you sure you're far enough away from her?

I found whole Garuda fight very simple and easy. Just go as a healer and you will have no problems. Only time I use warp was for to attacking. Came out on first try with both of us with 100% health.

More like the cast times are so long and everything so super telegraphed that it didn't seem possible to mess it up. Follow XIV's golden rule: be out before the cast finishes and you're good. Latency is a different animal, though.

i did the fight as brd and the npc just keep losing health and dieing about halfway thru the fight so after 5 tries i changed to whm it gave me better defence/magic defence and allowed me to heal my self and the npc we never got below 50% and won the fight.

I cleared yesterday in one shot and at times have latency issues (i guess it was good yesterday).
One point in the fight i had a few HP left but the rest was a breeze.

I beat it in my first run. I tried really hard to die and fail alot, but still made it somehow. I seems that Noctis died faster than me ^^.

BTW: Is it normal, that regular PLD-attacks are stronger than warp attacks? ^^
