Yes, agree completely. I noticed that immediately in the video, and to be honest, I find it extremely disappointing given the amount of time they have been telling us they were going to give us this Egi glamour system. Seriously, Ruby Carbuncle using the same lime green animation Garuda uses?

Wrong. There is not Shiva Egi NOW. They have specifically stated the Carbuncles are only the beginning, and there will be more in the future. So, it's entirely possible we could get a Shiva Egi in 3.5 part II or Stormblood. As for your last statement, what? Makes no sense. When you glamour a robe to a bikini there is absolutely no robe animation in sight, only the bikini you have chosen to glamour to, which is the whole point of what we are disappointed about. Why would there still be Garuda's animations when you glamour your Egi to a Ruby Carbuncle? There should be at the very least red animations to go along with it.

Maximum hype, as always. The thing I'm most hyped for isn't coming until March, though. :( I'm probably one of the few here who actually enjoyed Diadem, but I my MMO background is largely filled with kMMO grindfests.

People just like to complain, there's already one about the glasses emote above. When in the end it won't make much of a difference. The egi thing, no one will notice and be happy. Or for some they will see it and it can never be unseen. I guess those people will just have to stay with garuda egi or just that one carbuncle.

While the rest are going to be enjoying it, seeing a red carby do its thing. Such a small thing to get upset over, but then again its their time so let them waste it how they want, and justify it to make them feel better. I'm ready to bring back my buddy and fight my way up the wall.

Remember your own words the next time you are disappointed about a gender locked glamour you can't use, or a hairstyle you wanted to sport that clips horribly, or the next time you hate the way your main job's relic looks. Because, in essence, it's the same as me being disappointed about the poor way they implemented this Egi glamour system.

Now, if you truly don't give a care in the world about anything glamour related (even housing or the glamour items you put in your house), then so be it. But, I seriously doubt there's any one here who 100% does not care about at least some aspect of physical appearance in the game.

Am I strange that for me the most existing part of the trailer was the new beast man tribe quest? I loved the old ARR ones and I really hope that it will be up there. Also finally egi glamour, it might not be the most perfect way but still I am happy to have those cuties back. Rest of the trailer was kinda uh alright. Since a certain someones death I am kinda losing more and more interest in the main story. Just hope that the explosion at the end does not mean another 2.55 ending. I would love to be "free" from the scions but at the same time, some of them missing would mean that we would need to find them again.

Oh and that paissa house..*laugh* way to overboard, I think I will stay with my Moogle one.

Nice to see the Egi Glamour System has started. Additional Carbuncles will be a nice start. Hopefully come 4.0 we'll see Leviathan-Egi, Ramuh-Egi, and Shiva-Egi, and each of them will have variation of spells that Garuda, Ifrit, and Titan would have. If they start implementing a Sephirot, Sophia, or other Primals as Egis, however, I'm kind of hoping we'll get a Summon IV that fits for them, using maybe King Moogle Mog as a base.

I'm impressed with how we are getting all this new content and the verge of an expansion. Looks better than the last update, and yay Diadem is back.

All of this is amazing. Hopefully when no more ps3 they add different colors/looks to egi attacks, it can't be that hard to do...
