A bit hard to say from that small pic. :p

Pretty well, comparatively speaking. Obviously WoW and FFXIV top the usual most-played lists for MMOs but they're followed closely by Guild Wars 2, TERA, Blade and Soul, and Black Desert Online, all of which tend more towards the "over-sexualized" spectrum. It's not a question of "does sex sell?" It's "how well does sex sell?"
FFXIV is one of the more conservative MMOs I've played in recent memory. Most of the armor sets don't change across genders (even I find the female DRG tummy window to be laughable) and I'd say a good 80% of the outfits in this game are not sexualized in the least. So I hardly see an issue with giving the character models a bit more volume and shape.
There's a reason I'm coming off as hostile - I have a group of people that finds the over sexualization that is happening within the game to be a detracting and enjoyment killing situation that needs to be voiced.
There isn't a WEEK that doesn't go by that I have to face the reality people want to leave because a certain group of people want to run around as sexually provocative as they can. On one hand - YES - you have the right to enjoy the game the way you would like, the problem lies in upsetting people that consider package sliders and jiggle physics to be absolutley disgusting =(

En Masse is closing their doors and are down to a Maintenance mode crew keeping Tera alive long enough to pay their bills and SWTOR is consistently having to offer free transfers to people stuck on dead servers - SWTOR is dying, there are maybe 5 servers that enjoy a medium population with a player base of MAYBE 50k people..
I suspect there's no real danger of the dev team doing an about-face on this one, but just the same I'd like to say that I support the current system of realistic (for real life, not video games) proportions and non-sexualized combat gear. It's one of my favorite things about the aesthetics of this game.
Then these people need to grow up and out of puberty if they find anything in this game detracting and even more dumb if it kills their enjoyment, not to mention there really isn't any over sexualization, that is usually an excuse people use to find stuff to complain bout, as this game is very tame
Yea, sounds like a bunch of small kids playing the games, or radical feminists, and they complain about everything. tell them, they may need to stick to games that have the kids and everyone sticker, like pokemon and mario.Quote:

They're working professionals - Christians - People with small chidren and morally conscience individuals that have the RIGHT to enjoy this game without people like you telling them to grow up and get over it.
They contribute to this game the very same way you and everyone else does and should have the expectations that their experiences aren't muddied by people who want to run around like a flashing free sex board..
You heard it here first folks - if you think there nothing wrong with varying body types, you're an unconscionable menace to society.
I was going to ask for a source on your claim about EME and TERA, and to ask what in the world gives you the idea that SWTOR is in the least bit over-sexualized, but after this post, I really don't need to.
