Beast Master victory emotion should a wolf how
But when I say a Staff I don't mean like how a BLM or WHM use it. I mean like don't know if anyone has ever seen the cartoon Dangeon and Dragons? Diana was a gymnast and her weapon was a staff she would actually attack with it doing different type of moves not just striking some one on the head with it lol.
A whip does sound like a better choice to me if they decide to not let the pet be the sole source of damage. Personally I'd prefer a whistle or something that (deaf to our ears) instructs them to perform the skills we have unlocked or even cross-classed.
I had an idea what if we could transform into the mob?
I love Beastmaster, but only if they are able to make a real working petsystem. FFXIV version of summoner is more like affliction Warlock from WoW then the Summoner that we know and love. I want see this with the Beastmaster:
- Pet and Master bond, gameplay wise a dead pet should mean bad things for the Beastmaster.
- Allow the Beastmasters to tame their own pets. If someone wants to tame a Aldgoat, let them and if someone rather have that tiger from Hullbreak HM, they should have it. I want to see different Beastmasters with different pets.
- Allow the Beastmaster to collect them all. Add a Pet Log and let them collect it.
- There should be more synergy between master and pet. Let them do combos toghter.
Ever since I saw the first mammet with ARR's launch I've wanted a Puppetmaster type job (Mammet Master?). They basically have all of the assets needed for the different mammets at this point.
Heck, they could make a Minion Master job who could summon a pet with a minion's skin. Different abilities and such based on the minion type that they've already fleshed out a bit for Lord of Verminion.
I totally agree with the desire for a "true" pet job, rather then the pet being little more then a glorified buff/DoT.
yes i do agree with you Mora. that pet job must be a true pet jobs
