I'd also add that the Monetarists got off their butts and paid an investment in giving the Brass Blades/Crystal Braves that betrayed us actually decent equipment hidden with glamours
But maybe I'm overthinking this.

Special annoncement after the break:
I saved my last few Culinarian quests to do after this patch's storyline. I think this deserves a place here:

Meet Zombie Nanamo. The first of many possible plot holes, now that the "bubble" has been burst. Her undeath has opened a whole new afterworld of possibilities. This could get interesting.
To all the people saying that warrior of light is powerful and stuff that is true, but if you look your weapons didnt come with you into the cs with sultana
They didn't get them all.. Bummer..
For all the people who get upset their MC can't just fight their way out of these scenarios, consider that even in i130 if you go to an instanced level 50 dungeon/scenario and pull 4-5 mobs by yourself you'll absolutely get smeared without party assistance. We may be tough, but teamwork is really what allows us to accomplish what we have. An NPC that plots to catch you alone when you're at your weakest is actually pretty realistic considering in-game mechanics.
Oh good lord.
It's the Red Wedding all over again. A seemingly happy celebration served with pools of blood as dessert. Granted, that was what I felt would be the conclusion when I received the invitation. I start to think that parties in the fictional realm cannot be held without steel as it's main attraction. Note to self, decline every party invitation I get from now on.
Now I must wait three months for Heavensward to solve this matter. But as they say, it's best served cold.
Can I just ask...
Did anyone else cheer at Raubahn? Like I was so certain for a moment someone was going to step in and stop him and instead he actually went through with it.
I was really glad to see that at least some of the Monetarists got comeuppance as a result of this.
